On 25 April 2019, the Australian and New Zealand Governments will conduct a commemorative service at the Anzac Commemorative Site, Gallipoli.
All individual media representatives attending the Gallipoli commemoration, and any locally engaged staff (e.g. drivers, fixers), must complete a registration application form. Once an application is submitted, additional applicants can be added for the media organisation.
To complete your media registration application, you will need to provide details about yourself and your media organisation, as well as a passport style photo for your accreditation pass.
Following closure of the media registration process, final media numbers will be determined and media accreditation issued. Media accreditation passes will be issued at the media briefing prior to the event on 23 April. Additional information will be provided to you by email.
Please note: Australian passport holders travelling to Gallipoli must obtain a Turkish entry visa before leaving home. The application is available online at www.evisa.gov.tr and costs US$60 per visa.
ALL international members of the Media, and any locally engaged staff, must also register with the Turkish Directorate of Communication (DoC) for press credentials, this includes vehicle registration. Further information will be sent to you once this registration opens.
If you have questions about the accreditation process, please contact your country media contact.
